vooks and iBooks

So today, I was trying to download a vook about the history of rock and roll. I’m not all too interested in the history, but I’m very curious to see what the vook is like in action. By the way, a vook is a video book (click here to learn more via video). It’s a very interesting concept with many practical applications in non-fiction and self-help books. For example, the history of rock and roll–what better way to learn about music than to read about it and then watch music videos?
Anyway, I’m not sure if I should admit this or not, but I’m so excited that I will…in searching for the vook, I discovered the iBooks app on my iPhone. I wasn’t a fan of the kindle app or the audible books app, but this is awesome. There are free books on the iBooks app. Famous books. And famous authors like Dostoyevsky, Tolstoy, Twain, Fitzgerald, etc. Through reading short stories from Storyville on my iPhone during the commute, I have become accustomed to reading on the tiny screen. Needless to say, I downloaded like 20 books, and I think I need to buy an iPad.
